CHURCH: St Nicholas

The village lies three miles north west of Coleshill. The church, which dates from Norman times, was a popular one for marriages in the eighteenth century. Minworth is a township within the parish. Named after Crida, 1st King of the Mercians (583), said to be the oldest settlement in the Midlands.
