The village lies about five miles north west of Coventry. The M6 motorway runs through the parish, and nearby is Corley Hall, built in the sixteenth century but much altered. Corley Hall Farm is described by George Eliot in Adam Bede 1859 as the Poysers farmhouse.

The Parish Registers can be found at Bedworth Library or at Warwick County Record Office.
