LOCATION:
The village is 4 miles north of Tamworth. 

CHURCH:
St Matthew 

HISTORY:
The village was called Cetitone in the Domesday Book of 1086.
The church was a chapelry belonging to Alvecote Priory.  It dates from Norman times.
